Each floor of the OBW is named after an animal or natural element and many of the artworks.

Most patients will stay on Sky Ward, an 18-bed-ward in the Octav Botnar Wing. There is a high dependency unit for children that have undergone major surgery. Patients may be staying on other wards as well, especially if only admitted for day surgery.
